Youth Staff Application Packet for 2026 Camp Season
Thank you for your interest in applying to work as a Youth Staff for the 2026 Camp Season. If you are selected to be a member of this mission team, you will be asked to serve in a variety of settings as well as over the dates listed in the packet. The Youth Staff Development team is excited to get this camp year off to a great start!
Because we are opening things up to youth aged students that we don’t know as well, we are going to ask each student to go through an application process. Please fill out the enclosed packet to the best of your ability or complete the online version. Also included are student reference forms that should be printed off and given to each of the student's three required references. We ask that each student have their pastor and at least two other people— 18 years old or older, for whom they have known at least a year and that isn’t a family member— to fill out and return the reference form to us in a sealed envelope. All applicants’ information will be held strictly confidential.
To complete the application process:
Fill out the application completely and honestly.
Ask your pastor and at least two other people fitting the qualifications above to fill out the reference forms which there is a link to at the bottom of this page.
Complete and submit the below forms.
Once we have received and evaluated your forms, we will contact you for an interview to be held in March 2026. We will try to accommodate times for those who are driving a distance but we will require a face to face interview.
This application is for you to be a part of the Youth Staff Team at Weir Baptist Camp for one week or multiple weeks and serve in a multitude of ways. We plan to have spiritual development with our staff over the course of the next few months. We hope we can grow this ministry as it moves to the future. If you have any questions, you can call 620-762-3455. We would love to discuss it further with you!
